Tertiary Demos: Supports to Demo Districts

  1. Direct technical assistance on all levels of PBIS planning and implementation, with a specific emphasis on Tertiary levels of support at a rate proportionally greater than could be provided to non-demonstration sites in Illinois:

    • PBIS Network staff support/leadership at most building-based Tertiary Planning meetings
    • PBIS Network staff support/leadership at all district Tertiary Planning meetings
    • Technical assistance/support to: Tertiary Coaches, External Coaches, Wrap Facilitators, Building and District Tertiary Planning Team members, Family Support staff/volunteers, Families, etc.
    • Additional training and support at Universal and Secondary levels

  2. Provide access to, training on and support with data systems, including SIMEO, for decision-making and reporting.

  3. Provide support to ensure student/parent involvement in planning, training and implementation activities which may address/meet other district goals for Family Involvement and Support.

  4. Structured networking opportunities to collaborate with other districts and same-position district staff and to share/borrow ideas around this research-based systems approach.

  5. Assistance in improving district relationships with and access to community agencies and businesses, and their resources (including LANs).
