Dr. Howard Elementary School, Champaign School District #4, a fully implementing PBIS school, reduced its total office discipline referrals (ODRs) by 59% (from 170 in 2003-04 to 70 in 2006-07). During the same timeframe, Dr. Howard experienced improvements in ISAT Meets or Exceeds Reading and Math scores (a 21% increase in both assessments).
