Academic Improvement Schools are High Performers

Jasper County Junior High, Jasper County CUD 1, was awarded the Academic Improvement Award in 2007. They have shown a 21% increase in total ISAT scores (from 67% to 85% meets or exceeds standards) since 2005. During that same timeframe the total number of ODRs decreased from 671 to 233 (a 65% decrease).

Clinton-Rosette Middle School, DeKalb CUSD 428, also awarded the Academic Improvement Award in 207, has shown a 17% increase in total ISAT scores (from 61% to 78% meets or exceeds standards) since 205. Within the same time, the ODRs per 100 studnets per day decreased from 1.76 to 0.68 (a 61% decrease).
